What We Do
PUT THE KITCHEN IN THE BEDROOM
and move the bedroom to the kitchen!
At least that’s what we did for a client who was struggling with the layout of their new home. It gave them a whole new kitchen/diner space they hadn’t imagined, and we created a cozy bedroom with clever storage everywhere. That's what we do. Utilizing our years of experience in developing residential properties for sale, we can help you design your home to maximize the use of space and create beautiful interiors. And unlike many architects, we understand the importance of your budget and how to produce stand-out design that works.
Whether you have an immense, open plan warehouse space with no windows, like the project above, or are just planning a single home renovation - we can help you to design a look and feel that you will love.
We can also work along side your architect to review plans, layouts, suggest changes and provide spatial design support. We look at everything from a livable point of view: how does this work when someone actually lives in the space?
The look and feel of your home is where most clients have a strong point of view and we can help you bring your vision to life. We have worked on schemes for large, high-end residential developments, individual houses and small, one bedroom apartments and our approach is always the same - to design a unique scheme that meets the feel of the building and the surrounding area and becomes a reflection of your taste and style.
We use mood boards and sample packs to detail the textures and form of your design and specify all fixtures and fittings, tiles, flooring, lighting, kitchens and paint finishes. We then create a detailed design specification for your contractor to follow.
Throughout the project construction stage we provide consistent design support and on-site reviews to ensure that the specification is being followed and to troubleshoot any on-site changes or things that just simply aren’t working off the page.
We can also provide project management support, meeting with technical consultants, engineers, architects and electrical consultants to make changes to meet their code requirements or to simply manage elements of the build that need design input.
